  Introduction

Michelle has mixed feelings about the return of her stepdad, Kevin. He had been away for a year doing business, and things have been fantastic with her mom during that time. To make matters worse, when Kevin returns, he is taking some time off before his next project. This means he will be around the house a lot!

Despite the fact that their relationship has never been easy, Kevin returns determined to make more of an effort with Michelle. When Michelle suddenly finds herself needing someone to talk to, she turns to him for advice. It quickly becomes apparent that there is more to their new relationship. Michelle finds herself attracted to Kevin, and he finds that he can confide in her.

Seizing the opportunity to help her end it with her current boyfriend, Kevin suddenly has the time and the opportunity to turn their flourishing personal relationship into a more sexual one. It seems one encounter quickly leads to another.

However, things are also good between Kevin and Michelle’s mom. Kevin is faced with satisfying two women; without one of them knowing it! Can he manage to control his carnal desires and stay true to one woman? Or will passion win through. With explosive sex and near misses becoming a regular occurrence, Kevin must decide which path to choose.

  Chapter 1 - Homecoming

“Michelle!” The sound of her name forces Michelle’s eyes open. Her first thought is she is late for work and she only started this week! Rubbing her eyes she practically threw herself out of bed, her clothes were already laid out on the chair but it was only when she reached them that her brain started to wake up. It was Saturday; she didn’t need to be up! “Michelle! Are you awake?” Her mom’s voice vibrated round her room a second time. “I am now, thanks!” Michelle was trying to sound ironic but failed miserably. “Oh good!” Exclaimed her mom, as she reached the top of the stairs. “Can I come in?” Michelle shook her head, trying to wake herself up a little more. “Just a minute, I’ve got no clothes on!” She called back, grabbing a t-shirt and her night gown from the floor.

“Hey mom,” she said as she opened her bedroom door. “What’s up?” Her mom stepped into her room and frowned. “This room is a mess; you should tidy it up in case you want to bring someone back!” Michelle laughed, “You know Sam never comes back here and I’m not planning on having two boyfriends!” Her mom shook her head and smiled at her only daughter. She was clearly very excited. “I’ve just heard from Kevin!” She was waving her hands about like a teenager on the dance floor, “He is going to be back tomorrow!” She paused, her tone more serious, “It’s been just over a year since he went, I hope we still connect like before.” Michelle placed one hand on her mom’s shoulder as she said “I’m sure you will, you’ve been together for a few years now. Plus,” she added, “He’s the first step-dad I’ve almost got along with!”

Michelle’s mom nodded, “I know it’s not been easy, but be nice, please?” She asked, almost pleading. “Sure, mom.” Michelle replied. “Now, since you’ve got me up how about making me some breakfast?” Her mom nodded, the smile still plastered across her face as she headed downstairs. A moment later Michelle could hear the pots and pans bashing around, she turned and crossed to her window. She remembered the last time she had seen Kevin, it had been a week before he was due to leave for his trip. She had come home from college and found him sat in the sitting room, his eyes had been wet with tears but she had never known what was wrong. The relationship between them was always a little tense. She thought about him now, he definitely made her mom happy. She had sat round the house for weeks after he had gone, only cheering up when he called; which was usually twice a week. Of course, his return would change the easy going balance between her and her mom; Kevin didn’t appreciate her approach to work. It was probably due to the fact that he had worked extremely hard to become the fitness trainer to the stars. But this had always been his dream. Michelle on the other hand, didn’t know what she wanted to do yet and had no drive to achieve a specific goal. In fact, many people had said that she would never amount to anything, but they never realized that her lack of confidence stopped her from trying many things.

The day passed surprisingly smoothly as she helped her mom tidy the house over and over again; her mom was excited and nervous. Michelle was still undecided how she felt about his return but she knew better than to say anything to her mom.

Michelle woke early on Sunday morning; her body ached from all the cleaning and tidying the day before. Slowly she sat up; glancing at the clock beside her bed, she saw it was nearly seven. She listened carefully, even her mom was not up yet. Deciding to do something nice for her she slipped quietly out of bed and into an old pair of trousers and t-shirt. Gently she opened her door and moved down the hallway. The sweeping staircase had one creaky stair which she avoided before she reached the kitchen. A few moments later she was in full flow as she got breakfast ready for her mom and her.

By the time they had eaten and Michelle had cleared up it was half past nine. Her mom had showered and looked fantastic; Kevin was due to land at ten which gave her just enough time to make it to the airport. Michelle gave her a hug and then disappeared upstairs to take her shower. She was torn between staying at home and feeling awkward when her mom and Kevin returned or simply heading out and giving them some space. She weighed the pros and cons of her decision as she showered. Her hands glided over her body as she thought, slowly moving across the curve of her hips and down her shapely legs. As her hand came back up the inside of her leg she felt a tingle spread through her body. Gently she ran her finger across her pussy. She could feel the moistness as she pushed hard against her clit, rotating her finger in circles to maximize the effect. Michelle’s other hand moved onto her full breasts, she was a 36D and loved the way they felt under her hands. Slowly she massaged them, working her way round her nipple as her fingers slid inside her wet pussy. She could feel the pleasure building as she moved her hand from her breast and took the shower head and aimed it at her pussy. Vibrations rocked through her body as the warm water hit her sensitive area. Immediately she started to moan, her body reacting to the pressure of the tiny water jets. Michelle’s fingers worked faster and harder as the water continued to stimulate her. She could feel the pleasure building rapidly as she pushed a second finger into her swollen pussy. Almost immediately she cried out as the pleasure washed over her, her knees buckled as her orgasm consumed her. Slowly she slid to the floor, the shower still pumping water onto her naked body.

It took Michelle several minutes to stand up again; she slowly finished her shower and headed to her room. In fact, she had only just finished getting dressed when she heard her mom pulling back into the drive. “At least I don’t have to decide whether I should be here or not.” She smiled softly to herself as she said it.

A few moments later her mom opened the door and Kevin appeared, following her in. “Wow!” Was the first thought that came to Michelle’s mind. He had always been good looking, despite being forty two years old. But, now he looked even more muscular than before and he had a fa
ntastic tan! “Hi Kevin!” She said cautiously. “You look great and it’s brilliant to see you.” Michelle hoped she sounded sincere, for once she was being! Kevin smiled, his perfect white teeth contrasting against the darkness of his skin. “Thanks,” he said. “It’s good to be back!” Michelle moved down the stairs, she had to be honest; she was struggling to take her eyes off him. He made her boyfriend look positively boring! “I’ll make us all a drink.” She said as she moved into the kitchen, her heart was racing!

Michelle or Kevin barely got a word in edgeways for the rest of the day as her mom talked and updated Kevin on everything that had happened in the last year. He grinned and sat contentedly watching her, his hand holding hers. Michelle smiled; she hadn’t seen her mom this happy in a long time! As morning turned into afternoon she left the two love birds to it; she was sure they would appreciate the space. A quick call to Sam confirmed he was busy, but Michelle’s best friend, Carly was free and ready to shop! Michelle spent more than she should have done, but shopping always felt so rewarding! By the time she got back to the house it was after six. Kevin nodded at her as she came in, “Had a good day then?” He asked looking at the bags. Without waiting for a reply he informed her they were having pizza that evening and she was welcome to join them.

Michelle slept surprisingly well despite waking up several times with images of Kevin running through her head. She didn’t know what was getting into her! She was almost grateful to get up when her alarm sounded at seven! She showered quickly and got ready before heading downstairs. She knew she had time for a coffee and even some breakfast before catching the bus to work this morning. Michelle stopped suddenly at the doorway to the kitchen. Kevin was already dressed and looked fantastic. His black hair seemed darker than usual against his crisp white t-shirt and pale blue jeans. For a moment she struggled to catch her breath as his deep brown eyes twinkled, a slight smile crossing his chiseled jaw. “You okay?” He asked cautiously. Michelle nodded, all thoughts of breakfast disappearing. She managed to find her voice and smiled at him, “Yes, what about you?” Kevin’s voice was deep as he replied, “I’m good. Thanks.” He paused, his eyes meeting her emerald green ones. “Your mom says your car is broke and you’re using the bus. I thought I might give you a lift this morning instead. I’ve got nowhere else to be today.” “That would be great!” Michelle managed to stammer, suddenly feeling like she was stood in front of her celebrity crush. She turned so that he wouldn’t see her face going crimson red.

Kevin started the engine and sat in the car for a moment. “I’d almost forgotten how good you sound.” Michelle wasn’t quite sure if he was talking to her or the car so she kept quiet as he ran his hand across the dash of his sports car.

“Where are you working?” He asked suddenly turning to face her. “Ummm,” Michelle could feel herself stammering again. Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves she said “At Besties, the hairdressing place on Fifth Avenue.” Kevin nodded, seeming to approve as he pushed the button for the garage door to open and drove out into the early morning sunshine. “So,” he began the conversation with, “Are you a trainee or just a helper?” Michelle smiled, the words came easily now! “A trainee, I started last week but I’m really enjoying it, I think it might be my thing.” Kevin nodded again, “That’s good.” He said, “Especially as you’ve got a place at one of the best in the city.” He smiled wryly as he added “Maybe when you have a little more training you can have a bash at mine!” Michelle could feel her body tingling at the thought of running her hand through his hair. She smiled, “I’d like that,” the reply came out before she realized what she had said.

Kevin turned, looking her in the eye again, “I’ll pick you up,” he said. “What time do you finish?”

Michelle could barely wait until five; she wasn’t sure what had happened that morning but it felt like some sort of breakthrough. There was certainly more of a connection with Kevin than she had ever experienced before. Plus, being picked up by him in his Porsche was cool; she had seen the other girls looking when he had dropped her off!

Kevin was waiting when she left at five past seven, Michelle couldn’t help but give him a huge grin, she felt genuinely happy! Of course, the fact that it would get her co-workers talking was an added bonus. Kevin drove smoothly off; he didn’t say a word for several minutes; Michelle sensed he was wrestling with himself. Finally he pulled into the car park of a small restaurant which advertised they were serving coffees. “You want one?” He asked, his voice sounding a little gruff. Michelle nodded, she wanted to say something clever like “Anytime,” or “Any place with you.” But she had a feeling it wouldn’t sound right!

Kevin ordered two coffees and slid into the seat opposite her. His brown eyes flashed at her, almost pleading her to go first. Michelle took a deep breath and started to talk. “I know we haven’t always seen eye to eye in the past but I think that can change for the better now.” She paused looking at him, fluttering her eyelashes slightly as she did so. Kevin nodded, “I’m glad you feel like that,” he said softly. “I’ve noticed a real difference in you since last year. I have to be honest, I’m impressed.” Michelle beamed from ear to ear, she didn’t know why that made her feel so good, but it did! “Thanks,” she murmured shyly. She bit her lip as she looked him in the eye, “Can I ask your advice?” She said cautiously. “Absolutely!” Kevin looked genuinely pleased at her request. Michelle took a deep breath. “I’ve been dating a guy called Sam for nearly six months, but I hardly see him. He is always busy doing something and very elusive about what it is.” She paused, lowering her voice as she said, “Plus, the sex is nearly non-existent and I have a high sex drive.” She hoped this wasn’t a step too far for Kevin. “I really like him but I’m just not sure if he is using me.” Kevin nodded; his face serious. “How much do you really like him?” He asked. Before she could reply he continued. “I ask because he sounds like a player and I know, I used to be one.” Michelle paused, she had been about to say she really liked him, but suddenly she wasn’t so sure. Kevin watched her face and smiled softly, “I know,” he said. “It’s only when you think about it you realize it’s not really what you thought it was.” A moment later he added, “I think you need to decide if you really want him and, if you do, you will need to tell him what you want from him; his reaction will tell you everything.”

Kevin went onto explain how his reaction would be the tell tale sign, if he wasn’t committed to her he would be vague or even extremely positive; but nothing would actually change. “The question really boils down to whether you want to be with him. If you do, how much are you willing to put up with?”

Michelle nodded, biting her lip again. She was completely unaware that the sight of her teeth crunching into her lip sent shivers through Kevin’s spine. He could certainly appreciate that she had blossomed in the last year! “Come on,” he said. “Let’s get you home.” Michelle nodded, her mind circling rapidly as she attempted to decide how much she really liked Sam; it felt like much less than before Kevin arrived back!

  Chapter 2 – The Break-Up

“Kevin,” Michelle asked in her sweetest voice, “Any chance you could pick me up tonight?” Kevin turned to look at his step daughter; he had to admit she looked pretty good! His eyes slowly moved up her black leather knee high boots, a touch of her lower thigh flashed before his eyes met her black mini-skirt. The red halter neck top finished the look, it stated attractive, sexy but not easy. His eyes met hers; Kevin realized she had been watching him checking her out. “Sure.” He said, turning back to his newspaper, trying to look nonchalant. Michelle crossed the room and kissed him on the cheek, her eye sparkling as she said “Thanks Dad.” Her lips lingered for a moment longer than necessary as she felt the stabs of passion shoot through her body. Kevin could feel the electricity consuming his body. He wanted to grab her there and then and sink his lips onto her. He could picture himself wrapping his arms around her body and running his hands all over her. He reached up and gently touched her face.
“You’re welcome Michelle.” He murmured softly in her ear.

It was another day that Michelle could hardly wait to pass. She had made Sam pick her up yesterday. They had spoken for over an hour whilst she gauged his reaction and the strength of her feelings. She had to be honest with herself, she had feelings for Kevin, she was no longer sure Sam fitted into the picture.

At five Kevin pulled up outside, the roar of his engine echoed around the salon and Michelle couldn’t help but smile to herself as the other girls looked up. They had developed a lot more respect for her in the last few days! “Hi,” She said gazing into Kevin’s eyes; biting her lip at the same time. “Hi right back,” Kevin said, his smile was nearly as big as hers. “Can we talk again?” Michelle asked cautiously. Kevin nodded, “Sure.” He started the engine and moved off down the road; back to the same place they had chatted before. Again, it took moments for them to be ensconced in their own booth. Michelle idly rubbed her leg against his as she reviewed the events of the night before and Sam’s reaction. Kevin listened without saying a word until she had finished. “If you like him you have a problem, if not, I think it’s time to end it.” He paused, his brown eyes showing their concern, “I know it’s not easy, but he’s no good for you. He is just playing you.” Michelle nodded; she knew Kevin was right; she had just wanted someone else to confirm it to her. “You’re right,” she said quietly, “I just needed to hear it from you to give me the guts to do it.” Kevin smiled, ‘You are growing in confidence every day; it makes you more beautiful as well.”

Michelle giggled, she suddenly felt like a school girl. Her knees were weak and she was grateful to be sitting down. Kevin seemed oblivious to the affect he was having on her; instead he carried on talking about finding the right one; Michelle nodded as he spoke, gazing into his deep brown eyes. She froze when he said that she should always remember age isn’t important; was he talking about the two of them? Immediately hope surged through her body; she could imagine his lips on hers, her hands on his body. She could feel herself trembling; taking a deep breath she let it pass. A few moments later they were on their way out of the restaurant, her hand brushed against his as he opened the door for her. It felt like electricity had shot up her arm!
